Happy New Year! How is your year going so far? Does it seem to be zooming by already?

Many of you have asked about the status of Book III of The For Hymn Mystery Series. I continue to wait just as you. It is frustrating, and I am considering several other options. Thank you to those who have taken matters into your own hands by writing to my publisher. Your devotion is appreciated.

However, because I have now joined a writer's group (they keep me accountable!), I have a good start on Book IV. It begins in Gallipolis, just as the previous one does. Mariah is the main character this time. She is a nurse, who lives across the street from Kathleen (Eryka's sister). Her story begins at the end of her shift in the hospital nursery. As with all mystery and suspense novels, she is suddenly faced with a new twist in her otherwise normal life.

There is also a new page featuring all of my works in progress. And, I was blessed to get the chance to speak with my fourth grade students at Ohio Valley Christian School about writing. We had a great time! I think they were surprised that I could do something other than Spanish. LOL Check for their pictures on the Events page.

Next month, I will tell you about the article that is coming out in a newsletter this week. Those of you in the Pataskala area will see what I'm talking about very soon. I'd like it to be a surprise for you. Let me know when you see it!

Teachers and parents: I am now scheduling school visits. Please let me know if you are interested. As you may remember, I love going into the schools to be with kids! We'll work out something to accomodate both of our schedules.
