How are ya all?

Cruella here just having enough time to sip on my mint julip and let you know what's up for a few weeks with moi. Haven't heard from many of you lately, so hope all is well with you and yours!!

Here's what's up with moi!!

Sunday June 2nd - Friday June 7th -
I will be vacationing kiddies in San Francisco this week, hopefully also selling a few books as well!! We are going to celebrate the 50th wedding anniversary of Scruffy's parents, Marge and Joe Suarez - we are so excited for that! We also hope to catch up and visit with the ever popular Terry (Manoski) Foster who will be in San Fran at the same time! Maybe we can run out to Alcatraz togezzah!! So far this year I have got to see Keith Pagel and Sonya (Doering)Raffing - I'm on a roll, so can't wait to hitch up with "Toes" next week!!

Tuesday, June 11th and also on June 25th - 07:00 PM
Yes, dearies God willing I will be back and at Barnes and Nobles for my Creative Writing Class. So come on over to the B&N on San Jose and come see moi and the other classic writers/laurettes. I will be there from 07:00 - 09:00 pm!!

Thursday, June 6th and 20th - at 07:30 PM -
Don't forget kiddies to come to MINNIE's and bring your little poetry/short story readings. I won't be there on the 6th (will be in San Fran), but go and mingle with the other crazies - Lynn, George, Joannie, Bob, Joe, etc., and have FUN!! $3.00 gets you in the door and all the tea and crumpets you can handle! I will be back on the 20th for sure.

DON'T FORGET ALSO - To send your submission for the coffee table book being put out in the fall by Neighborhood Press, for which moi is the Executive Director, entitled - OPEN MIC JACKSONVILLE -
We need your submissions. Submit 3 - 5 of your BEST poems, free verse, haiku, etc. Any length, keep it clean. If you are chosen you will be featured in your OWN section with your poetry, pics and bio!! All proceeds are going to the Literacy Foundation, but think of ze PR dahlinks - PRICELESS!!

Saturday, June 29,th - 01:00 - 03:00 PM
Don't forget ze annual Florida Writer's Association meeting at the Deerwood Library SE off of Gate Parkway. I don't know what this month's topic is, it may be how to sell books and work on your tan at the same time! Who knows! I lead the group - just show up!!

Ok, that's eet for now dahlinks. Put a little "danczah" in your life SSOOOOOONNNNN!!!
