Happy almost August!

Sorry I have been lax, but have been so busy! Just had a great day of sleep today! Had a colonoscopy! What fun! What great drugs! I highly recommend them to everyone! It's about the only way I can get a day off from work!

Ok, so since I got one day off to do that let me take one second to get my web page updated and say "hello dahlinks".

So much going on...
In a nutshell. I still need to speak with some of you old "Country Club" Hoosiers, so PLEASE - E-me or call me. Also need to know if you will give your permission for pictures to be used in the re-released of "Fly". If I don't have your ok, you won't be in. Absolute deadline for this is August 30th. The deadline for "Fly" to be done and to ze new Publisher is Labor Day Weekend - we are hoping for a Christmas release.

The movie....well, we are still waiting and praying. We have sent it out though to the Francis Ford Copulla Movie Contest, The Zoetrope Awards, The Royal Palm Awards, it's going out to the Moondance Film Festival soon, and probably even Project Greenlight...we are hoping though for a BIG, BIG offer in between those, however. Oprah?!! Baby where are you? Please call? HBO? Lifetime? WE?
Patience is not one of my virtues, those of you who know me also know that. I almost though DON'T want the screenplay to sell until we get the new re-release of "Fly" out. The ending will now match with the screenplay. Ze price is going up too! From $12.95 to about $20.00 now. YEAH!

What else have I been doing?
My fellow author buddy, Glenda Ivey and moi have started a NEW organization in Florida - We are the co-founders of "Southern Authors Promote" - that's what we do too kids, we promote each other and do great, colorful, "different" author events.

I am also the secretary for another organization, "Authors For Charity", and I have just become a member of the National Poetry Society, Jacksonville Library Guild, and am the Coordinator/Director for the "Open Mic Jacksonville" book projects. Oh yeah, I'm also still the Regional Director for Jax for the Florida Writers Association, working full time at the hospital and teaching classes at B&N. What else did I forget? Now you know why I'm a little hard to catch! (and why I need to schedule a colonoscopy to get a day of sleep!). :O)

PS - Never made it to Acapulco this summer, or any summer vacation, but look for me to tour up North after Christmas - I'm looking forward to going to book tour again in Warsaw, Ft. Wayne, Indy and everywhere...so stay tuned. Jax and Florida - get ready for another round of fun with moi!

Ok...gotta run and get some Z's so I can get up early and make some more $'s.
