Hello dahlinks!

Just managed to get a November note in before November got away! HA!

What a month....well, let me tell you dearie dears it has been as hectic as the other ten before it, but it ended with moi accepting as being President for the Florida Writer's Association - so you can also visit me now at www.floridawriters.net if you don't get enough of moi here.

The book, the books, the movie, the movie...I've been to busy to respond to commands, demands, reprimands, got to get to it in the new year. Priorities. Priorities!

The health....well, what the hell I'm getting older...daily....hourly.... I was confirmed last week, after a trip to the Orange Park Medical Center ER a few weeks ago, a stress test, numerous EKG's, CT's, x-rays, echocardiograms,blood work etc. to have CHF, LVH, TR, MR and an enlarged heart on the left side. (Let's see that is congestive heart failure, left ventricular hypertrophy, tricuspid regurge, mitral regurge and blah, blah, blah!) Next it's off to the Nephrologist to see if the one good kidney I got left is getting ready to blow! How depressing, I hate hearing about all this crap myself, but hey....that's life and "All That Jazz" (one of my favorite movies!). I've lived a good life. Thankful for each day, each friend. What more can I want? I would like to stay around long enough to see the movie come to pass, Lauryn happy in her adulthood, and then who knows. Besides the best day of rest I had all year was when I had my colonoscopy. The prep was a bitch, but the day of drugs....priceless! HA!

So don't worry about me. I'm cool. Gotta keep moving. 2004 will be good for us all(God willing!). I just wanted to let each and everyone of you know how THANKFUL I am to have YOU in my life. It means everything, every day. Just wanted to let YOU know.

Hope that all is well with you and yours! It's off to California we go for Christmas/New Year's next month. I'm so excited. Hope to sight see again. Maybe go see Jay Leno or Conan? Some stars? Back to the Hollywood Hills, Hollywood Blvd., Rodeo Drive....maybe Vegas? Have never been there, would just love to cruise it and "feel" the lights and energy of the City.

I will be back to pester you all again before then. Not the first gift bought yet - (SO NOT ME!). I'm usually done shopping in August. This year...well?

Don't know if I will have time to do the "Suarez Report" next month - this may be it! So much to do, so little time.....
