Subject: Interview with Elmer Fudd

FMO: Mr. Fudd, how did you get into this newsletter about a book of car stories, anyway?
Elmer: Your wife called one of your favorite cars "Elmer Fudd". It was a 1985 dark blue Euwosport Sedan as I recall. Elmer is featured in POD as the car Genewal Motors should have been making by the bazillions.
FMO: But what does that have to do with the price of gasoline?
Elmer: Genewal Motors has built some of my favowite cars, but all they weally want is all of my money. The Euwosport offered lots of safety and value in a car and they couldn't stand that, so they discontinued the Euwosport and replaced it with a much more expensive model.
FMO: Let's go on to another subject. I have a recording of you singing, "Kill the wabbit" as if you were really Ozzie Osborn in disguise. Is that the way you really feel?
Elmer: We need more of two things in Amewica. Cwistian Cwazies and guns: those are my two favowite things. Cwistianity and killing innocent animals like those wuthless wabbits - now that's the way Amewica should be!
FMO: I can assume then that you are from the far right wing?
Elmer: Yep. Wight Wing, that's me. Let's go kill something!
FMO: On a lighter note, Mr. Fudd, what do you think about the history of cars in our culture?
Elmer: The guvmint got involved in the late Sixties as an excuse to improve auto safety and air quality, opening the door for the incessant price increases of the future.
FMO: That's lighter?
Elmer: If you want to get any lighter, you'll just have to wead the book....
