Hi all!

It's September and I would like to think a new month means new things are happening in my little world. That said the month started off with a bang. I was in Atlanta for Dragon*Con, and annual Science Fiction/Fantasy convention, and I had a blast!

I did not have a booth anywhere, or do any official signings, rather I was "working" the convention for PopArtsPlace.com -- so I was at panels trying to take note of things worth writing articles about, and lingering in the "Walk of Fame" area to see how fan encounters with the various celebrities were going.

And in my off time I decided to get photos of me with a few of the actors who had come. (I think I've now been photographed with almost every major actor from Babylon 5. And the few I haven't posed with for a photo I've been at events with! Not bad! :) )

So PopArtsPlace.com has been my focus right now. I've got 4 or 5 articles up so far, with more in the works. Right now I'm doing non-spoiler bits on whether or not I would encourage people to go hear these panels if ever they had the chance. It can be frustrating to hear about a convention, consider saving up your money to go but not really know if it is going to be any good. I've been to some where the panelists had no clue what to say and ended up embarassing themselves, which is unfortunate!

I'm happy to say that Dragon*Con did not suffer from that -- almost every panelist was fantastic, and the few that weren't up to Solo Panels weren't given them! They were fortunate to be surrounded by very talented co-stars who kept things moving beautifully!

For now I'm trying to do this newsletter at least once a month -- more often when there is major news to announce, and I'm working on my blog daily. I should say Blogs as PopArtsPlace.com has me doing the blog in the events section to announce new articles and try and keep interest in that section of the site.

I don't think this newsletter lets me really do links, which is unfortunate, but I'll give the urls for the blogs anyway. :)

Yesterdays PopArtsPlace.com blog entry is short on purpose... I wante to keep the beautiful and charming Nichelle Nichols by the top of the page for as long as possible! That lady definitely made a very positive impression on me.

I'm supposed to get my Dragon*Con initial reaction article up today, and then next week write a follow-up that's kind of the "one week after" perspective, and see if I am ready to contradict myself yet!

So that's about it in my world. I'm in the middle of writing a screenplay and a novel, in my spare time, as well as doing the popartsplace.com articles, so I'm staying out of trouble as best I can -- and hoping all of you are doing the same, working hard and playing well!
