Dear Subscribers and Authors' Coalition Members:

You may all have gotten the message loud and clear. I am convinced that videos - - not just book trailers but videos - - are the best way to reach larger numbers of people on the Net. It can be economical compared to other ways of advertising and especially other ways of advertising visually. Further, videos can target audiences by being any audience, any niche. They can be full 1/2 hour interview or educational presentations to 30 second commercials targeting an audience for your launch or event.

So, this is a special edition Sharing with Writers. It features a letter to you from radio host and producer Rey Ybarra. Even if you don't live in LA or can't be at the LA Times/UCLA Festival of Books, please read it. I hope you'll glean some ideas from it.
