our small town has had rain at least three of the seven days of the last three weeks. The yard and garden are growing as though we lived in the tropics.

Tonight, we have a warning out for severe thunderstorms with hail and high wind. As long as it doesn't mess with my computer, I can take it.

PA has already accepted the first two books - "Dearest of Friends" (story of Sandra Johnson) and "The Friendship Circle," (tale of Martha Winslow) that will be a series called "The Crystal Lake Friends".

I am working on the third book of the series. The working title (at the moment) of this book is "Faithful Friends". This is the story of Cathy Roberts who is a supporting character in the first two books.

I received a nice compliment when a woman from southern Indiana e-mailed me and asked to use my reunion poem in a booklet she was compiling for her class reunion. I was very flattered.
I am sending her a signed copy of "Hidden Legacy" to use as a door prize the night of her class party.

We started talking and we have discovered that we are possibly related by marriage through distant cousins.
I was born in southern Indiana. It is true - it is a small world.
