Bringing my life up to date 2/14/2006 8:09:52 AM
Events since my last entry in July,2004 I cannot believe that I haven't updated for so long.
However, my life has moved right along . . .
In August of 2004, we found a house in the country. We had longed to go back to the country for years.
Now was the opportunity.
The house needed lots of TLC - it took us from August until November to paint,plaster, and make it our own.
Once in the house, I made the comment to my mountain friend that I would like chickens again as I had long ago. She invited me out and sent me home with a dozen as the foundation of my new flock.
During the past summer, 2005, I gardened, canned, and froze whatever produce I could find or grow.
Sadly, writing seemed to be sent to the back burner.
January, 2006 New Year's resolution was to 'get back at it!'
I am talking to an literary agent.
Keeping my fingers crossed that the agent and I work everything out and I have help promoting my work.
My first book in the Crystal Lake Friends series, Dearest of Friends is selling well.
The second book of the Crystal Lake Friends - The Friendship Circle - was released in the summer,2005.
The third book of the series - Friends Forever - is almost two-thirds completed.
I am also working on a sequel for my book, Hidden Legacy. The sequel will be titled Reunion With Strangers and continue the story of Tessa and her family.
