Toward fall, The Friendship Circle, will be released. This book is the second in the Crystal Lake Friends series, following the book, Dearest of Friends (which was released this past spring).

In Dearest of Friends readers met Cathy, Sandra, and Lily; mature women who have been friends since childhood and always remained the dearest of friends.

The Friendship Circle will introduce Martha, another childhood friend and college roommate of Cathy's who has become a recent widow - (synopsis)-

Martha Winslow is left on her own when Harry, her husband of nearly forty years, dies suddenly of a massive coronary. Martha, grief-stricken has no choice but to sell her home and many beloved possessions to survive. A dear friend, Cathy Roberts, Martha’s roommate from college invites her to visit her home in Crystal Lake, Missouri to recuperate. Martha is innocent and trusting; the result of living a sheltered and protected life. Grateful for a stranger's kindness when she desperately needs help, Martha becomes a victim of a charming con man as she travels alone, learning too late that not all men can be trusted.

I am also currently working on a sequel for Hidden Legacy which continues the story of Tessa and her family.

Lonnie, the oldest son of Jacob, is grown, has married Rose and has a new baby daughter.
Tessa is happy with Matt and thrilled to be a new grandmother - however, Matt knows there is trouble brewing.
A stranger has come to town, searching for a small child that Jacob had stolen from his home in North Carolina years ago - was that child Lonnie?

Does he have another family who is mourning for him and, if this family discovers that Lonnie is a lost member of their family, will they convince him to leave his foster mother,Tessa and turn his back on his adopted family in Mineral Springs?

I will be in Fremont, Ohio at a local bookstore signing copies of both Hidden Legacy and Dearest of Friends on June 11th.

I am going back to Mountain City, Tn in either August or September and I will be at the Midwest Book Fest in Bellevue, Ohio the second weekend in September.
At the event in Bellevue, Ohio, I will be discussing creating a movie from the book, Hidden Legacy with a representative from Hollywood. Wouldn't that be fun? Keep your fingers crossed!
