Showcase of Young Writers
I have a number of young and very talented friends who have sent me some of their work to review. They are quite talented. I have decided showcase their work here in my Newsletters. Your reviews and comments are welcome. I will forward them on to the authors.

Forever Winter
By: Richard Curry
O time stop,
Like the frozen river.
Let me forever slide along,
Thy icy surface.
Please wheel of time,
Be like the water mill.
So that I may sit,
Upon thy frozen boards,
And watch the world go by.

Time's Scribe
By: Richard Curry
Scribe for me,
All things and sights,
Passed across thy blessed eyes.
Let not thy visions die,
Closed within thy ever-resting eyes.
Scribe for me,
The stories heard,
By you and all your kind.
Let not the stories be destroyed,
With you forever buried.
I shall not let your stories perish,
All the things you love and cherish.
The people shall never forget,
We wrote all down with no regret.

The River Chronos
By: Richard Curry
Time comes and goes,
As rivers flow,
And we are much the same.
We live,
We die,
The river winds,
As spins the wheel of time

A Walk In The Shadows
by Matthew Windom
Weary stranger do not fear, your travels are not to waist…
I follow thee thru thy trails, and mark well all your grace…
When your time has finally come I’ll accept you in my arms
But my friend do not fear, I assure I mean no harm
A loving watcher is all I be…
Till that fateful day…
When your body, whithered, releases its gem my way
Polished and smoothed by your years…
And waves of wearies that have broached your shores…
Finally it is ready to be placed now, in my crown of thorns
