I gave my word to interviewee Matt Nelson that I would announce our article in THE CAPE COD CHRONICLE. Get this: a little over 40 percent of Kenya's population is age 14-under, there's a major teacher shortage, plus: parents (whose per-family income averages only $1,200 a year) must still buy school supplies, adding up to $400 a year! Combine Kenya’s poverty factor with too many school-aged children, and Nelson rightly proclaims “the future of the nation is in jeopardy.”
