Just wanted to let you know it's alive (a career)!! It's not scary, either!

For starters, HarperCollins has sent me the first of hopefully several books I'll be reading and reviewing. The company's rep, Julia, has generously offered the Reading Manager (Nichel) of Suite101.com to provide us with author interviews, backround information, and live author chats.

As far as I know, Nichel will be reviewing Destiny's Child's autobiography Soul Survivors and I will be reviewing Tina McElroy Ansa's riveting, supernatural book, You Know Better.

Finally, Back Road Bears' artist Daphne Blau will be displaying and selling her beautiful bears in shows this August.
