Dear Friends and Family:

Six months? Six months since my last newsletter?!

How can this be?

I blame Facebook. Ha! And our new TV.

Of course, full time work might have something to do with it, as well. Oh – not to mention kids and grandkids. But enough excuses!

The year is nearly half - over – it is going quickly! And I’ve been keeping extremely busy. Busy is good. Busy means I’m being productive and improving my writing skills and working on my sequel and winning awards.

Yep! I said winning awards. Two of my personal columns received honorable mention at the Community Papers of Florida Conference held in Orlando. I’ll take it!

All and all, the writers at Tower Publications made an admirable showing, winning five editorial awards (including a 3rd Place and a 1st Place, too), so there is reason to celebrate: I’m working for an award - winning publication with award - winning writers. Hip, hip hooray!

Additionally, the photo I took on the cover of the winter edition of the High Springs & Alachua magazine won a cover design award as well. Kudos to the production guys who always clean up at these conferences!

I’m sure you are waiting with baited breath for news about my book. (Baited breath just sounds bad!) Waiting in great anticipation...

Well, the sequel to my soon - to - be - best - selling novel “Endless” is in its final stages of gestation, and I’m excited.

And I'm looking for a new publisher. Any advice is appreciated.

I’m still looking for a title, too, so feel free to send your suggestions!

So now that I’ve written the beginning, middle and ending, this means, for all intents and purposes, the novel, per se, is (drum roll please!)FINISHED!

(But still needs final re - write and editing.)

I’m excited about it, and more than ready to take a brief sabbatical to wrap things up. But, alas, I have responsibilities. For which I am grateful. Very grateful. Eternally grateful. Life is good.

Thanks again to all of you who have followed my journey as a writer, and have provided endless support and encouragement. It means the world to me. And the trip is nowhere near finished.
