Es la historia de Argentina
la de jovenes que han muerto
antes de dar por cierto,
del sacrificio el valor.

(The Argentina history,
despite a thousand young men died
before they could give value
to their sacrifice)

Entregaron sus veinte años
por un pais que comienza...
y ni sabemos hacer la cuenta
de aquella cantidad.

(They gave us their youth
for a country in the beginnings,
and yet we have no conscience
of the enormous loose.)

Porque Argentina es crisol
de distintas circunstancias:
Hay que mueren por causa de otros:
y hay que viven de los demas.

(Argentina is a turning point
of diferent circumstances:
There are people slayed
by other hands,
and people living on their death.


Cuanto ha sido el desencanto,
la indignacion que hoy les canto,
la amargura de ser pura
nuestra oficial corrupcion.

(What a tragedy and poverty,
indignity and despair.
Our official corruption
is the cause of this situation)

Si se ha de cortar de cuajo
la raíz de los problemas,
pues que sea ya, a cara de ajo,
y no cuando sea tan tarde.

(If the root of our troubles
is ready to be cut out,
let it be done today,
in a solid way,
before it is too late)

Porque los chicos del hambre
suman hoy varios millones.
No es cuestión de dar razones
frente a una casa que arde.

(Because children are starved
and they are dying in hundreds.
It is not the time for reasons
that do not involve their mouthes)

Comencemos a reunirnos
en tertulias domingueras.
Tal vez se encuentre la manera
con la ayuda de Dios.

(Let us find the way

No defraudemos a nadie.

Could our backs support its weight.



War is neccesary, someone says.



But life does not need the death.
