When I was designing the cover for my Debut book “Without Medication”, I thought about every issue and adventure within the pages of this book and what it represented to me personally.

The bottom line is “without Medication” is an explosions of events and situations that surrounded the very being of these souls. And because it is somewhat autobiographical,( with a lot of imagination) I wanted the cover to say it deeply.

I wanted something that was unusual and something that looked through the soul. I created this picture months in advance of the book. It originated as a self portrait I painted several years ago and really had no idea I would end up using it as the cover. It was in the back of my files and tucked away.

Then one day I took a closer look at it and it just hit me with overwhelming feelings and I knew then what the cover design would be. I would love to know what you think of it.
