The galley proof for "CULLOTTA" was received at Huntington Press yesterday. I reviewed the document and found two minor changes that needed to be made. The Advance Reading Copies should be in from the printer early next week and out to the reviewers by Friday.

As you may alresdy be aware, on Monday Huntington was served with a prosecution subpoena to appear in federal court in Chicago on May 15 and produce the "CULLOTTA" manuscript. This is the federal racketeering trial in which several alleged Chicago Outfit mobsters have been charged with multiple old gangland slayings, including the 1986 murders of Tony and Michael Spilotro. I learned yesterday that another subpoena is forthcoming, this one by the defense. Huntington plans to issue a press release regarding how they will respond after the new subpoena is actually received - probably on Monday or Tuesday.

Also, the first episode of the National Geographic Channel's four-part organized crime in America series, the "Philly Mob," will air this Sunday night. The Las Vegas segment, which was based largely on my book "The Battle for Las Vegas," will follow, probably next month. As soon as I have an air date I'll send it out to you.
