Hello,
I have received numerous petitions(probably from Republicans) requesting that the food, French Fries be changed to Freedom Fries. At first I thought this was a joke, but alas, it is not.
The fact that French fries originated in France seems to not be an issue and normally I would not react to such stupidity, however, in all fairness, if anyone out there knows of a spud that would rather not be associated with France please let me know.
In this age of equal rights and political correctness, I will be sure to ask each order of sliced potatoes that I order whether it wishes to be named French or Freedom fries.
Anyone who has a problem with France will probably not want to read the novel I am writing now as most of it occurs in France with no negativity towards the French people. Let's not forget that Soeur Sourire loved France and was French speaking.
