Winter Tour

We've been staying close to home so far this year but we're about to head for California. Having been born and raised in California it's always nice to come home and I'll be doing that beginning Saturday, February 23, 2003 when I'll appear at the Barnes & Noble in Ventura, California at 2pm. On Sunday I'll be at Barnes & Noble in Rancho Cucamonga, CA at 2pm and then back to Ventura again---this time for an appearance at the Library on Monday the 25th at 2pm. Monday night I'll be just down the road a ways at the Santa Paula Library.

On Thursday, Feb 28th I'll be at Left Coast Crime, the annual Mystery Convention being held this year in Pasadena, CA.

I'm looking forward to seeing some of my California friends again.

Deadly Distractions, A Stan Turner Mystery Book V

I just finished the first draft of the next Stan Turner Mystery, Deadly Distractions. Stan defends a client accused of killing an IRS agent. It's a tough case since the client is found standing over the body with a shotgun in his hand. Look for it to be out this Fall.

Yes, We're Open, A Guide for Small Businesses Under Siege

My non-fiction book is in the final stages of production and should be out this summer. It's for small businesses that are in trouble and in danger of failing. It will owners identify the cause of the problems and show them how to defend themselves and stay in business while they turn things around.
