Hi, Gang!

Happy almost New Year everybody! I use exclamation marks to hide my sadness!

It's a topsy-turvy world out there, and in here. Externally, as you know, there was a massive tsunami-causing earthquake that killed over one hundred thousand people (about the number of mostly innocent civilians we’ve killed in Iraq! Go us!) As you may also know, as a result of this earthquake/tsunami the earth—that’s right, the entire planet—is now vibrating and its rotation has been disturbed. Fantastic!

Internally, if you’ve been at all following the saga of an energy that now coexists in my body and acts like the will of another being, a possession of sorts that has Eastern flavors and has only been beneficial, well good news! Over the Thanksgiving Holiday I picked up my mother’s Ti Chi sword and lent control to this other will. I slaughtered my family!

Kidding—come on! I kill with kindness. I did give over the helm to this other will and “it” knew exactly how to use the sword. I had a feeling it wasn’t just using it but telling a story. Would I were Chinese I could translate it for you. Not. Can’t. Moving on….

So external weirdness and internal weirdness. When will they come to a head? If you guessed “January 22nd” -- you’re right! For on that magical date I will have juuust finished teaching my class about…WHATEVER… at the Learning Exchange in Sacramento, CA and will have headed for the mountains of Sonora. Lyons Bald Mountain, to be exact.

Dr. Mark Olson of www.sonorasightings.com has invited me out there to film UFO’s that hover over his house more often than not and seem to have a landing pad on said mountain. Sounds ludicrous, right? Right. So I’m on it. If I end up in an intergalactic zoo never to be heard from again and you find my videotape like “The Blair Witch Project,” be sure to make a TON of money from it and do a fictionalized sequel starring both Coreys.

Don’t pretend you don’t know what I’m talking about. And, YES, make Feldman do an uncalled-for Michael Jackson dance somewhere around the third act.

If anything interesting happens out there you will be the first to know. Or you will never know. Here’s why: I’m not paying another dime for Author’s Den because it just isn’t worth it for me anymore. I was one of the first people kicking around this website so I’ll always and forever have a little free home here (they call it the “Grandfather Clause”), but I don’t think that home delivers the news unless I pay. SOOOO, I will be sending you newsletters from a new address:

Also, in the very near future, I will be overhauling and updating my VALIENS site. It’s been a long time coming. In the meantime you can always read my rantings and ravings in UFO MAGAZINE. And, of course, I’ll be working on another book in a few months.

I’m working on something else in the meantime, something I’m praying the Sci Fi channel will produce. Either way I’m going to do it. What IT is will have to wait for now.

For now, just kick back, drink some wine or nog, grab a loved one, and kiss away 2004. I’ll leave you with a question:

If there is a growing global UFO wave and other abductees have been shown massive cataclysms in our very near futures and I am not lying and I am not psychotic and there is a new energy in me “upgrading” me and I am an abductee and all of this is connected, then does it mean that this giant death engine winds down in my lifetime? Am I a human signpost of things that must come in the next 60 years or so? I would say “I and others like me” but I don’t know of anyone (abductee or otherwise) hosting what by all appearances is a foreign entity in them. Perhaps it’s a false assumption to think this possession is leading anywhere, building up to something like a great symphony. I suppose it could have just appeared out of the blue but…but…no it didn’t.

It raises an eyebrow to think that just now, as the earth wobbles like a top about to lose its spin, we are discovering ancient sunken cities all around us and that humanity is far older than conventional wisdom allows. The dark irony of a life in denial is that self-discovery is always pioneered at one’s deathbed.

Or maybe that dark irony is that THE END will come on the heels of its template: That shitty summer blockbuster, “The Day After Tomorrow.”

I’ll be dipped in shit if it isn’t already tomorrow.

But enough gloom and doom! It’s the New Year! Don’t you feel good? Don’t you have resolutions to break? Can’t you see yourself in ten years living out your fantasy future, whatever that may be? If you said, “no,” you’re not alone. Does anyone see a future for themselves? I mean, REALLY?

There is something you can do about all this but you won’t. Isn’t that right Chinese energy guy in my body?

He just bowed. Shit, that’s WAY more than one last question.
