In no particular order, here's your update:
No, I'm not gaining weight, I'm harboring Wato.
Sorry I haven't been keeping up with the newsletter. I've taken up drinking. (Kidding. I abhor fluids.)
Oo! Oo! New stuff! I finally have access to my own damn website! That's right, ladies and germs, I've broken and created a lil' blog at www.valiens.com, which will always only contain new and unique content. Perhaps I'll include some guest bloggers and do interviews with famous people and stuff. We'll see how bored I get.
I'll be directing a music video this Summer by New York super-group, THE VIOLETS. They're putting the finishing touches on their new album and choosing a single as we speak.
Hey! What happened to my movie? It still exists! September 8th I'll be screening it in Long Island and giving a talk. For info on that, check out my EVENTS page on authorsden. I submitted it to an art house in Boston a month ago or so. They say they still haven't watched it yet, which may be code for, "Sucks, dude." Or maybe not. Art house. Stoners. They probably smoked it.
If anyone out there in Me-Land has a theater near them that caters to the independents, by all means gimmie that info and I'll try to get it there before I commit to a DVD deal.
Hey! Books! You write those, don't you?--I do indeed, quizative reader, I do indeed. I've got a couple of projects in the pipeline. One may be published anonymously, haven't decideyet. The other is a compilation of UFO Magazine articles, most likely as an Ebook through Shadowlawn Press. So if you've never read my UFO column, get ready for the anthology, baby. You know I'll soup it up with extra ingredients to make it smell like new.
