People of The Internets: HEAR ME!
Whelp, the first annual Culture of Contact film & arts festival went off without a hitch. Next year's promises to surpass this year's in sheer awesomeness (whatever that means. You'll find out.) I believe we've helped change how the media treats ufology and alien abductions. All it took was one conservative paper, The New York Sun, to give unbiased coverage and for other media outlets to pick up that story (and therefor its tone.) Culture of Contact isn't satisfied with just doing an annual festival, though, no. We've decided to hold smaller events throughout the year. The first will be major. This September at the East/West Bookstore in Manhattan we'll be throwing Whitley Strieber a book launch party for his highly anticipated 2012: THE WAR FOR SOULS. The date is pending but it will be on or around the 18th, which is the release date for said book.
