My daughter's birthday is in October, and, after "Happy Birthday," our favorite expression on that day is, "Let the holidays begin!"

Halloween has come and gone and Thanksgiving is not quite here. But in the holiday spirit I will be participating in the Country Holiday Bazaar at the Fern Ridge Library in Veneta, Oregon on Friday, November 18 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

I'll be signing copies of my books for kids and teens, answering questions about writing, and I'll even have on hand some "Chocolate Puppy Chow--for People!" You'll find a recipe for this yummy treat in my picture book, The Chocolate Day.

If you're in the area, I hope you can drop by and say Hi. There will all sorts of items available at the bazaar, and it's a great way to get an early start on your holiday shopping.
