I am married and the father of two adult daughters.

The last two are e-books that can be found on my website at www.FreeJoeent.com. I own and operate my own publishing Company.I host a television program on cable in Memphis, Small Business Review. I am a graduate of Loop Junior College and Chicago State University in Chicago,IL. I earned a MBA from Governors State University in University Park,IL.I was appointed by the Mayor of Shelby County, Tennessee to serve on the Shelby County Historical Commission.I have received recognition and awards for my work with young people in the community as well as my work with prison inmates. I have been recognized by the state of Tennessee and the Small Business Administration as an advocate for small business.In February of 2002,Southwest Tennessee Community College presented the Carter G. Woodson Award of Merit to me.
