Peace abides in freshly fallen snow. Surely, as I look from my bedroom window, the multicolored holiday lights lend a quiescent serenity. I’m reminded of my son and his friend who helped hang the lights at Thanksgiving time. The fruits of their labor shine on yet tonight not just as a beautiful memory, but also in the dashes of color radiating through the blanket of snow embracing the yews. And so it is with loving family, good friendships and life in general. When we stop to do a kindness, benefits are far reaching.
