and two minds thinking seperate thoughts.

Eyes meeting on a soft lit dance floor...
two hearts once seperate now bond.

Young hearts finding a need to talk...
two hands finding each others grip.

Now, 30 years later I remember that night...
of young lovers dancing on a soft lit floor.

Of two hands holding each others tight...
knowing soon they shall part.

Yet, she has stayed in my heart over the years...
as young and beautiful as on that night we danced.
