I love hiking in the canyons and mountains of Sedona. The above picture was taken while hiking Oak Creek Canyon. Looking at that lovely site made me wonder if the canyons beauty would be remembered and if my words would be remembered also.
The sounds of birds singing...
and wind rustling through the trees.
Bubbling brooks and peaceful streams...
all strong memories in my mind.
These visions engulf my thoughts...
pouring out as gentle melodies.
Will you remember them when I go...
keeping a memory alive?
Skies so blue, so brillent...
the finest photo can never duplicate.
Clouds so white and pure as virgin snow.
Sights I shall remember always.
My hearts music pouring from within...
like a waterfall flowing over green mountains.
Will you remember the songs...
or let my visions fade.
Laying under a glowing moon lit sky...
staring upward from my beautiful Sedona.
So soft, tender, forever burning in me.
Memories etched deep inside.
My soul yearning for just one more song...
one more harmonic note to float on the wind.
Will you remember as the music fades..
will you remember?
