For as I sit upon the windowsill

And the sun, once again, has made it’s rounds,

I feel something more than just simply blessed.

The Hallelujah Chorus is the sounds

Found in beating wings and evening calls.

Inside the sill, lay miracles sleeping.

Beyond it’s realm, stands all that’s graced by God.

A kingdom past words and joys and weeping.

Cooling breezes lift feathers so slightly;

A coo from above and night time is near.

Sanctified are those who know their calling

As the peace within calms all of life’s fear.
