Nice write, the ending caught me by surprise. Vegans should only get offended if asked to bite down on it. Which would never really be an issue. Wearing a flavoured condom may change their minds though, lol.

Roger,
Thank you so much for your reflection
on "Of Pretension and Peace." You are quite correct about the U.S. having the longest standing and most stable political system, and I thank you for pointing out the ambiguity. I am intending to distictly reference our culture in regard to our youthful err's especially respecting management of our resources. I am considering a slight adjustment to the piece
such that the distintion is definite.
Also, I am considering most appropriate avenues to submit for publication. Thanks again. -- Now, as to the closing Question
