I remember his smiles of contentment that morning as he talked with me while sipping his cup of strong black coffee.
I remember the sound of his voice, as he hummed absent mindedly while polishing his shoes that afternoon.
I remember a full, orange-hued sun that sat low, in a blue, cloud-streaked sky, mesmerizing in its beauty! Powerful in its presence Evoking emotions within me that I could not explain.
That evening, it was one of those awesome sunsets that I saw as I looked beyond his shoulders, just before I closed my eyes and his lips engaged mine in hungry, passionate kisses.
The desert heat was almost unbearable, inducing heavy perspiration that rolled in droplets down my breasts and back, causing my sheer garments to adhere like glue, sticking to my body as he gently peeled them off. And yet, this heat was nothing, compared to the heat that he and I generated during that evening of love making!
Those kisses, those sunsets, those evenings with him, I will remember through out eternity, for they are indelibly written upon the pages of my soul's diary!
