I'll Not Tell You

I'll not tell you that I love you
And you will never see me cry
Each tear I hide, because of pride
Stays with me till I die

I'll not tell you how I love you,
Your funny grin and pleasant ways
Thoughts of you, when I am blue
Brighten dreary days

In a sacred space within my heart
I've buried this love deep
And I'll not lie, but when I die
I'll love you in death's sleep
