Where have my innocence gone
Can someone help me find it so I can go on
Deep down inside my soul something has been taken
Because you decided a child wasn't precious and her body not forsaken
You rip at my inner being tore part of my child like ways
To penetrate a feelings sick men get for a child my age
The blankness of your eyes, the stench of your breathe
I remember like yesterday because the scars are all I have left
I was eight years old, you ruined me and that's not fair
You are a monster in my eyes because you didn't care
That I was related to you, my cousin to be exact
So how could you dare destroy me like that
I get down on my knees praying that GOD can help me
To take away the hurt so I can someday be happy
He lavishes his love on me in abundance
Now I must go on because healing and being happy still has a chance
