How Blessed am I ? From my birth, I have only known comfort & security, my barns have been filled with much. I have had no lack. Material is all around me, and I continually bathe in the lust of my desire for more, even to the point of sin. From where have my blessings come? Why have they come to me and not another? so many are without. a world of billions, I am so blessed. To JESUS my Savior & God the father be all the praise & glory, but “why lord” Why me and not another. For you know my heart, your ways are not my ways and my ways are not yours. You know that my heart is as the heart of all men, “Desperately Wicked” as your light shines in my heart, the shadows of my sin seem to grow larger and larger, until my heart breaks before you. Help me oh god for I am a desperate man.

  With a strong desire to please you, Oh that I would continue in all of your ways to fulfill all of your commands, knowing fully well that in your ways are peace and joy and life to the fullest. The lusts of my own ways seem to overcome me continually. Sometimes I wounder what the fires will leave behind when I pass through, when I consider my ways and motivations behind all the things that I say and do. Help me oh God for I am a desperate man.

  Pour your blood over me , Cover me, Cover me lord Jesus. You alone are my salvation, You are surely my strong tower, I run to You with raised hands, I surrender to You alone. When the enemy of my soul circles round about me, when he continually harasses me and throws his fiery darts of confusion in my path, I will run to You for You are my comfort, You are a foundation of solid rock that can never be broken, A million cities can be built upon you and you will never fail. I am proud to be called your son, I am so glad that you do not change, you are the same yesterday, today and forever, I know who you are, though others mock you and argue you existence “the blind fools that they are” You are the potter and we are the clay how can we say to you “Why have you made us this way?” Even the thought is a great evil and a testimony against us. so please, Help me oh God for I am a desperate man.

  You oh God almighty are the ultimate, righteous Judge of all things. all things are in your hands, who are they to say “there is no God” “Show yourself to me and I will believe.” When their life is over their bodies will decay in the grave and their soul will return to you oh mighty one. Because You are far above the stars in the skies above, You are more awesome then the mighty rushing waters of all the lands of this great Earth beneath my feet.
