I tried so hard

to make it on my own

I tried to get a career.

I tried to do it all alone

I tried to please people

I tried so hard to win

them over.

I tried to please my

beloved and all of

my children.

Then I discovered

very painfully that

I failed at everything

I tried,

and it is all because

I did not take the time

to acknowledge Abba

Father in all of my

under takings

and so I lost my way

I tried!

Now I humbly kneel

in prayer, and simply

ask Abba Father to show

to me His will and I just

conform to His plans

and purpose for my life!

I tried it Abba Father's

way and found new joy

and true happiness

doing it God's way

for He does not ask

for success,

He just ask me to be

faithful and obedient

and to be a doer of His word!!
