Up ahead of the dark clouds

I see a bright light shining

While the darkness thickens

all around me.

The light gives me hope

that a new horizon is just

up ahead.

I press my way stumbling

a few times, and in the darkness

I begin to cry.

Forgetting for a moment

to look up ahead!

Then as I look up ahead

I see the light, drawing closer

I see His outstretched Hand

reaching down from up above!

Yes! up above He waits for me

only light radiates up ahead

Pausing.........

there it is my destination

Thank You Jesus!

The light up ahead is now

a reality!
