They gave Him vinegar and gall

to drink but he refused!

for it was not of the cup

that he should drink,

in agony he cried!

Still they crucified him,

his body was broken

for you and for me.

The cup was more

than any human could

bear yet he drank all of

it.

Now he lives and reigns

so you and I can drink

freely from the fountain

of life Hallelujah!

Jesus Christ is alive!

I'm so glad he drank

of the cup!!!!
