Forgive us Lord of our careless ways,

we are sometimes ungrateful and unkind,

and fail to appreciate Your blessings!

Forgive us Lord for neglecting You,

we take so much for granted!

Forgive us Lord for we spend far too,

much time on the temporal things,

and not enough on the spiritual.

Forgive us Lord that we do not,

pray like we used too anymore.

Forgive us for not abiding in Your word,

and then forgive us for not obeying,

diligently Your commandments.

We are sorry and want to make ammends,

but we are weak and frail,

and know not how! Lord please,

teach us how! For we are all undone

without You!
