Sometimes you may feel like giving up! Please hold on the darkest hour is just before dawn! Be encouraged as you read.

Poem Artwork

In the dark of night,

The moon was so right,

Doing it's duty,

What a dazzling beauty,

Shining so brightly,

on the dark waters!

Reminding me of Jesus Christ,

As He faced His drakest hour,

In Gethsemene's Garden.....

There in agony He prayed,

As He felt so all alone....

He came to a point of giving up....

Then in an instant He surrendered,

to the perfect will of His Father,

Who empowered Him to make,

it through triumphantly!

Still gazing at the moon,

As it shone on the dark waters,

I felt an agonizing pain,

That ripped through my being.

Then proceeded to walk away...

Pausing...... glanced back,

The moon light seemed to shine

As the day!

Instantaneously giving to me,

A ray of hope.......

"The darkest hour is just before dawn"

These words seemed to rivet,

Across the skies!

Kneeling then on my knees,

I cried "Oh God my Father,

Help me to hold on in this,

My darkest hour to see the dawn,

Which is about to shine in my life,

As the moon shone upon the dark seas.

Standing on my feet,

What an unusual meet.

The moon light shining,

Upon the dark sea's lining,

Creating a beautiful reflection,

Bringing hope to me in my time of rejection,

And pain in my darkest hour!!!!!

Beautiful indeed I too was praying one night as I had reached a very dark hour...I cried out that I couldn't stand this pain any longer...within the midst of my tears, I heard a still small voice reminding me..."when you've done all you know to do, just stand." That upcoming week during the middle of the Sunday evening church service the preacher was in the middle of his sermon when he stopped and said, "I feel like telling someone here tonight to stand, when you've done all you know to do, just stand!" My faith was made stronger, my heart, soul, and spirit renewed and that's what I did...I stood and soon the answer came! It was worth the wait and the stand! Thank you my friend for reminding me of this particular time in my life, just recalling it makes me count my blessings all over again. Enjoyed this very much!
Blessings from Ky.
