I thought I needed so much

And had so many friends,

Whom not known to me

Did not have my best

Interest at heart, yet foolishly

I allowed them to manipulate

And control. I thought I needed them!

I thought I lacked so much and could

Not do without, only to find that

Manipulating friends were not what I needed.

It was not that I lacked so much.....

My thinking was wrong...Focus was fuzzy....

Now it is clear...... What I thought was all wrong...

I have a friend who is always there for me.

This friend is the Lord my Shepherd and everything

That I need is in Him!
