You are favored. And because you are favored you can relax, let go of fear, cease worrying and give all to love.

You are not the legendary Phrygian King Midas who turned everything he touched to gold;
You are not an inheritor of a wealthy parent, or relative, or a well-to-do benefactor;
You are not a genius, a person endowed with special gifts that cause you to be a natural-born gifted musician or a master artist;
You are not considered by others to be a member of a race or class who deserves favors;
You are not seen by others as being beautiful, or well-endowed, physically and intellectually;
You are not highly educated or a well-trained person who possesses the skill of a surgeon;
You are not an extraordinary person;
You are quite ordinary.
You even have the gamut of depravity tendencies that are common to man.
Yet, you are favored, you are blessed, even in ways and with gifts that money cannot buy;
Your being favored is evident in your good health, your needs being provided for, your ability to face challenges with calmness and confidence, the gifts you receive from others, the serendipity, i.e, the good things that come your way unexpectedly, the joy and peace you have, your loving and being loved, your courage, your seemingly fearlessness and the near absence of stress and tension in your life.
You have just been given the portrait of a person who is favored.
Some one may ask, "Why am I not favored?" The favored person has no need to ask this question because he is aware that there is a mystery to being favored and that it is by grace that he has been favored.
He also recognizes that he has been chosen and that he is a favorite of his Creator.
However, that does not preclude him from having a role in his favored status. Indeed, he does. The favored person has the awareness and perceptiveness that enable him to recognize and accept his favors, and to be thankful for them. If the latter is not present, his favors may be withdrawn or appear to him to have been withdrawn because he has ceased to see the beauty that surrounds him.
Being in the flow, living in the now, and surrender to the Cosmic Power that is manifested in truth, love, harmony and soul-centeredness, rather than in the physical, rational and emotional componnents of the self, are the three conditions, all states of consciousness, that enable a person to recognize and claim the favors that may serendipitously and abundantly come to him.
Abundance does not appear in extravagance or excess which could be for the recipient a burden or a curse. Favor cannot be disfavor, unfavor or a curse.
Favor can only be a blessing.
If you desire favor learn how to be in the flow, live in the now and surrender to the Cosmic Power that is above you, beneath you, around you and within you, even nearer to you than your breath. These are the most important things that you can do for yourself. In doing these things you allow yourself to be blessed and you become a blessing for others. Even your presence will be a blessing for others.
"What makes you so favored?" By grace are you favored and because you are favored you are graceful.
Remain in the flow, live in the now and surrender in a way that you are ever-cognizant that you are like unto the abstraction: I am floating rather than swimming.
