Do you know that you have the power to determine your quality of life? The quality of your life control is in your hand.

What is the quality of my life?
This is probably the most important
question that you will ever ask yourself.
It is a question that life has already asked you and every other human being.
Is the quality of my life good or poor, healthy or burdensome?
Here the focus is on a good quality of life and good health. A person experiencing a good quality of life is one who is living a meaningful life and has joy, satisfaction and peace.
Let it be known that a good standard of living is not synonymous with quality life. As a matter of fact a good standard of living is the leading cause of a poor or lack of quality life. In attempting to achieve a good standard of living or the American Dream a person may work long hours or have two jobs, so he can earn a sufficient amout of money that he hopes will guarantee him a good standard of living. In the process he may secure for himself a poor quality of life that is characterized by poor health, stress and anxiety. He may find himself living a treadmill existence.
Good health is the true st indicator of quality of life living. Only a healthy attitude supersedes good health and that is in the sense and in those instances where a person is debilitated, especially, physically debilitated. However, with a healthy attitude this person also can experience a good quality of life. Nobody can deny a person a healthy attitude except the person himself.
Contrastly, a person having an unhealthy or negative attitude, even with a good standard of living, is likely to experience a poor quality of life.
Achieving a good standard of living very often results from a person engaging in activities and exploits that include manipulative, even unethical, behavior in attempting to move up the ladder, so to speak, compromising himself and devising schemes that will enable him to make more money so he can buy more and bigger things - better stuff - and gain the approval of other people who will acknowledge him as being somebody of some significance.
Obviously, the price a person pays to achieve a good standard of living is usually much too high for his health's sake. In the pursuit of a good standard of living a person may not only neglect caring for, but abuse, his soul. Soul-sickness is the leading cause of unhealth, diseases and illnesses.
Again I emphasize, the price a person is required to pay in order to achieve a good standard of living is likely to be too great a price to pay, precisely because it is often the thing that denies quality life.
It is no wonder Jesus asked, "What does it profit a man if he should gain the whole world and lose his soul?"
Remember, a healthy attitude is the key to having a good quality of life. It may be said that good quality of life transcends standard of living.
Set before every person is life and death? However memory brings back this moment let it be said that you chose life.
