How to be safe when in harm's way.

It is impossible for a person to "stay out of harm's way," although there are times when he can choose to do so. Harm's way may be as close to a person as his home where there is an intimate enemy or the hospital where he becomes sicker, maybe even sick unto death, after being admitted to it than he was before because of the incompetence and negligence of the medical practitioners in that hospital.
By no means are these the only places where a person may find himself in harm's way. Refusing to think for one's self puts a person in harm's way. The most important things in life a person must do for himself. Thinking is at or near the top of that list.
Possessing higher consciousness is the greatest defense against becoming a causualty while in harm's way. To have higher consciousness is to be favored. At times, for the favored person the obvious is not obvious and the visible is invisible. This is a commonplace mystery, nevertheless, the favored person is covered or kept safe even when in harm's way. It is evident that transcendence is also present in such situation and at such time. Transcendence operates apart from the cause-effect paradigm. Instead of cause producing an effect, a dialectic exists that consists of a thesis, minus an antithesis and a synthesis. In this transcendent paradigm the thesis, skips the antithesis and advances to the synthesis, a new thing, which is not the outcome of the thesis but an overcominng of both the thesis and antithesis that produces more life and health, not death and debilitation, hence making harm's way a safe way.
To reiterate, a person cannot avoid being in harm's way at some time or the other, but he can develop, or more correctly, discover higher consciousness which is in truth God-consciousness. Possessing God-consciousness is the strongest weapon a person can employ to keep safe while in harm's way. God-consciousness is a "within," or internal ability, not an external force or forces. It is available to everyone. Listening to and following one's own heart are the essence and applied power of God-consciousness that protects a person in any situation.
