Did you say "You are the Creator?" someone asked me after I introduced myself as a Celebrator. I responded "No, I said I am a Celebrator, a person who celebrates life, who is grateful to be alive, who enjoys nature and experiences beauty that surrounds me and is within me." As a Celebrator, I have a vertical relationship with the Creator and a horizontal relationship with people. I am connected with the Creator and humans.

How do I demonstrate my Celebrator personality? I celebrate. I smile and laugh, sometimes I shout, mostly when I am alone except for Presence, spelled with a capital "P," who is my constant companion. I am aware that my happiness is my responsibility and that it is attainable and maintainable. My happiness is superseded only by joy whch remains untouched even when happiness eludes me. Joy is the heart of my Celebrator's soul. It is in my DNA. Joy is life, a given, that can be blocked or suppressed by negative thoughts and a bad attitude. Conversely, joy is maintained and nurtured by positive thoughts, a healthy attitude and living in the flow, present reality, that frees a person from being burdened  by concerns of the past or anxiety about the future.

Singing is a major way which I express celebration. It is the first thing I do when I arise in the morning, the last thing I do before going to sleep and what I do frequently during my waking hours. Singing is who I am and what I do. Next to being a Celebrator, I am a song. Sometimes I play the harmonica and sing intermittently. People listening to me play or sing will sometimes join me in singing and/or applaud me. And sometimes they will say, "You are our celebrity! The party is for you!" To that I respond, "Thank you! Join with me in the celebration." Then I rejoice all the more when I recognize that we are joint-Celebrators, celebrating together ourselves, each other and the beauty that surrounds us and is within our souls.

As a Celebrator my purpose is being happy and experiencing joy and encouraging others to be happy and experience joy. After declaring verbally and nonverbally "I'm enjoying life," I say to others: Come on and celebrate and let your joy be known!"

"Celebrator: That's me." When you and I are joint-Celebrators "What a wonderful and delectable world we experience in our togetherness and in our separateness."
