When the Holy Ghost informed
Mary that she had conceived she
visited her cousin Elizabeth who
was in the sixth month of her
pregnancy with John who leaped
in her womb. Elizabeth said,
"Jesus, He's the one."
John, the forerunner of Jesus
baptized him and heaven said,
"This is my Son, whom I love;
with him I am well pleased. And
John said to the people "Repent."
For "he must increase, but I must
decrease." "Jesus, He's the one."
When John heard in prison what
Jesus was doing. He sent his
disciples to ask him, "Are you the
one who was to come, or should
we expect someone else?" You
know I've preached that you are
the one. "Are you Jesus still the one?"
Jesus replied: "Go back and report
to John what you hear and see: 'the
blind receive sight, the lame walk,
those who have leprosy are cured,
the deaf hear, the dead are raised,
and the good news is preached to
all." "Jesus, He's still the one."
He came to his own and they
receive him not, but to as many
as received him, he gave them
power to become children of God.
He was crucified and buried but
he rose the thrid day with all
pow'r. "Jesus, He's stilll the one."

a song that I composed. Visited
