Who has it made? Who can make it?
Two questions: one is an illusion and the other one can be a reality.
A person's life does not consist of the things he possess, privileges,
health, wealth and connections.
These are the things that we considered when adjudging if a person has it made.
They are temporary and can suddenly vanish forever.
Accepting this illusion causes disappointment, anguish and disillusionment. The fragility of life and inescapable uncertainties in life preclude anyone having it made.
Yet, anybody can make the best of it.
Making the best of it requires only that a person have a healthy attitude. And this is something a person cannot be denied, the right to choose a healthy attitude that allows him to be and do his best, nobody's best except his own.
The defining act of the person with a healthy attitude is expressed in the statement: "I will make, or, I am making, the best of it."
Even when faced with imminent death the person with a healthy attitude exclaims, "I have another chance, a chance to die, and make the best of it."
Nobody has it made! Anybody can make the best of it!
You are the "it" in these declarations. What are you going to do with your life?
