AUTUMN LEAF The little tree that grows near by Shivers from the cold, with dread Watching people passing by..... Last lonely leaf to say goodbye Hangs from the branch by thread. Impossible to hold on anymore, The time is near, she said goodbye To many fellow leaves before, Now... her time arrived to leave, Explore the world a little more... She spent her nights alone, She dreamed with stars and Moon, Now it's time to let it go and soon Take the journey to the unknown. It's time to take a leap and fall And join the passing, blowing wind, It's time to take a chance and swing, It's time to spread her curly wings. The future is far, unknown to all, Or it can be few blocks away, No one knows which way she'll go With the crazy, passing wind of Fall… By Ankin Timourian .2015

Excellent work on this piece Ankin...it has a lot of imagery and seems to barely scrape the surface. Sounds like moving on with life.

Nice rhythm, free spirited. It sounds like an older woman who has raised her family and is nearing retirement, letting go of her past attachments, wondering where the wind will blow her now that she is free.
