Changeing face of passion.

Passion

I wonder if you really know

The meaning of true love’s many ways

That passion comes and passion goes.

Waxes and wanes in many ways.

Remember the day that when we first met.

We spoke of many things.

Over many months our hearts were set.

We’d fly together on golden wings.

The passion that, we both first knew

As we fell into each other’s arms.

Would grow and change, and once it grew.

Would change its ways and charms.

Love mellows over many years.

And then first passion wanes.

Through times of laughter, sometimes tears

We share the pleasures and the pain.

Until love, has changed its face.

It becomes a different thing.

Until passion has been replaced.

The words “I love you” have a different ring.

Surrounded by your younger friends.

I see the look upon your face.

You wish that with them you could blend.

Know again that passion, that passing time erased.

You want to play the dating game.

I think by the way you flirt.

Not realising it could ne’er be the same.

Or caring about whom you hurt

You think that we don’t have it.

Feeling that our love has died.

But it’s different ways we show it.

Since you were my bride.

I know that I’ll always love you.

Even though you broke my heart.

Long nights of tears are shed for you.

When I think that we may part.

Oh Sweets, love never dies, it simply re-arranges itself to a place that we can deal with it. Passion comes & goes, but it's not what it's all about at all. My best to you. This is really very good. Wish that I could write like this.

Love Always, Janny xoxoxo

sadly poignant...i hope she realizes that when the passion of youth is gone, there is a greater satisfaction to replace it...at least, that's what i tell myself :}
