The Darkest Night

The darkest night is yet to come, I am not beaten, am not done, My life has not been tarnished By the clouds that have been cast. The sun will rise again each day And chase the darkened sky away, My shadows are still fading, And I can see the sun. And so another day is born As stars and moon melt into dawn, The welcome rays of sunlight To start the brand new day.
