You think you're so clever,
like you got the upper hand,
I just thought I'd let you know
it was one moment,
lost,
forgotten,
one frozen moment in time?
I'll leave it there,
frozen,
over,
gone,
it won't be thawed for a long time yet.
You think I'll come running,
whenever you click your fingers,
like I live to make you happy,
guess again, I think they call that dillusion.
And now,
all you are,
is a bad memory,
one of those mistakes
that I'll learn from.
One in a million wrong things I've done.
Don't go off with the wrong idea,
like I cherish your presence,
like I want you,
like you're in my dreams.
No.
You know what you are to me?
You are to me, what I was to you,
just one in a long line
of encounters, good and bad,
Sorry if you thought
that you were more than that.
Didn't mean to burst your idealistic bubble.
Didn't mean to ruin your game.
Just setting the record straight.
