Fleeting

I can't believe it's happened,
for the hundredth time, I'm sure,
but once again, I see a face,
and find that I want more.
I want more than just that smile,
that he gives me now and then,
I want more than the way we chat,
and joke around, like friends.

I don't think I should worry,
In a while it will have passed,
but until then, I'm hoping
that this moment could just last.
I hope this isn't fleeting,
the way I've hoped before,
I hope that I don't wish in vain,
and that it will be more.

Charlotte,
The reality of evolving love is always different than what we hope of guess because it involves so much of another person that we cannot yet know. Relish what is real in each moment and appreciate him for what is actually between you--this will give it room to grow free of fleeting kinds of expectations. Vicky

I will make a million wishes for you, that what you want comes true. Don't hide in your heart what you feel. Usually love never returns once the opportunity is missed to grasp it. Bill

Extraterrorestrial Beings v4 by RickthePoetWarrior

Our heroes are revealed for all they are, the final flash of a dying star, for with this pen I do they mar, with hopes I leave ‘em all a scar.
